Appellant Stephens and defendants LeClerc and Martinez were charged by information with the crime of robbery, it being alleged that on March 12, 1944, in the city of Los Angeles they forcibly took the sum of $21 from the person of Lorenzo C. Ramos. At a trial before the court without a jury all three defendants were found guilty and thereafter defendant Stephens appealed from the judgment of conviction.
